Intelligent Transport Systems are continuing to evolve rapidly, which is why the industry relies heavily on research and innovation. ITS Vienna Region is involved in many research projects and continually develops its services.
In the FAMOUS research project, the freight traffic model is being further developed and applied specifically to access management in cities. To this end, scenarios for access management measures for freight transport are defined and their effects on freight flows evaluated. The aim is to develop solutions for climate-neutral freight mobility in cities.
